Located In the township of Georgian Bay Go Home Lake was created in the 1950s by the construction of two dams. It's name came from its proximity to Go Home Bay. Loggers would send timber down the Musquash River and meet steamers at Go Home Bay, which would move timber to various mills around the Great Lakes and then “go home.” Today it has become home to approximately 450 cottages, a majority of which are boat access.
